Budapest, Hungary - Transnational Meeting 5, January 2019
Project Green Tour had their fifth and last meeting in Budapest Business School Budapest, Hungary, on the 28th and 29th of January 2019. The meeting had the presence of representatives of the five partners: Ecocenter Alapítvány (Hungary), Szent Istvan University (Hungary), European Center for Quality (Bulgaria), LUISS Guido Carli University (Italy) and AidLearn (Portugal).
The meeting was organised by Anna Rendes and Györk Halász, the Ecocenter representatives who participated in the meeting and was directed by Anna Rendes (Green Tour project coordinator).
The partnership participated in the Green Tour Project Final Conference held in the Budapest Business School, on the 28th of January, where special guest Dr. Krisztián Egyed discussed the Strategy of Hungarian National Tourism. Anna Rendes (Ecocenter) who introduced the project globally, while the Green Tour platform and its functionality were presented by Nunzio Casalino (LUISS). The tendencies of tourism courses and the significance of green tourism in Hungarian higher education were addressed by Dr. Henrietta Nagy (SZIU), giving a clear idea of how the Hungarian educational system addresses the tourism thematic, with special emphasis on green tourism. Good practices of Green Tourism in Portugal & Bulgaria were also explored during the conference, namely: the NaturTejo GeoPark and the Azores Trails in Portugal, presented by Eduardo Maia Fernandes (AidLearn) and the Azareya and Omaya Ecovillages and the Eco houses Ognyanovo in Bulgaria, presented by Admira Boshnyaku (ECQ).
During this last meeting the partnership discussed the Multiplier Events developed in the different countries, as well as the finalisation of the O2: GREEN TOUR Project Guide, O3: GREEN TOUR B-learning Tool and O4: Thematic tours Booklet. Updates to the website were also addressed at the meeting, as well as the different reports that have to be presented for closing the project.
